Head

 The human head is the uppermost part of the body. It contains the brain, the skull, and the main organs of the senses (eyes, ears, nose, and mouth). It is connected to the body by the neck.


Main parts of the human head


Skull (Cranium): A bony structure that protects the brain.


Brain: The control center of the body, responsible for thinking, memory, movement, emotions, and vital functions.


Scalp: The skin and tissue covering the skull.


Forehead: The front part of the head above the eyes.


Eyes: Organs of vision.


Ears: Organs of hearing and balance.


Nose: Used for breathing and smelling.


Mouth: Contains the lips, tongue, and teeth; used for eating, speaking, and tasting.


Jaw (Mandible): The lower jaw bone, important for chewing and speaking.


Cheeks: The sides of the face.


Chin: The lower front part of the face.

Enables vision, hearing, smell, taste, and balance.


Allows speech, facial expressions, and communication.


Helps with eating, chewing, and swallowing.
